Valentine Chessa est un associé fondateur du bureau de Paris de MCL Arbitration. Elle a une expérience consolidée en arbitrage international. Valentine intervient en tant que conseil devant les principales institutions dans de nombreux secteurs, tels que la construction et l’énergie.
Valentine siège régulièrement en tant qu’arbitre dans des dossiers soumis à de nombreux règlements d’arbitrage, dans plusieurs juridictions et lois applicables aussi bien en français qu’en anglais et en italien.
Valentine assiste également ses clients dans des procédures d’exécution et d’annulation devant les tribunaux français.
Avant de rejoindre MGC Arbitration, Valentine a travaillé dans l’équipe d’arbitrage international d’un cabinet international renommé pendant plus de dix ans et auprès de la Cour internationale d’arbitrage de la CCI où elle a supervisé des centaines de procédures d’arbitrage avec des parties provenant du monde entier, impliquant des secteurs et des problématiques d’une grande variété.
Elle est un des reporters pour la France de l’Institute for Transnational Arbitration et a été co-chair d’Arbit pour la période 2017-2018, et Board Member d’ArbitralWomen (2017-2019).
Valentine Chessa a étudié le droit à Paris II et à Strasbourg. Elle est avocat au Barreau de Paris. Ses langues de travail sont l’anglais, le français et l’italien.
